The Adoption Process
To begin the adoption process we ask that you complete a pre-adoption questionnaire, this form asks questions about your lifestyle, such as other family members, other pets, work schedules, etc. . The form assists us in determining which dog or cat might fit best into your home. We will conduct a phone interview or an in-person interview after receipt of the pre-adoption questionnaire. At this time potential adopters, including other members of the family, will be introduced to some of the dogs or cats available for adoption. Once a match is made a completed adoption application with a vet reference will be required. A home visit will take place prior to finalizing the adoption.
